The Senior Security Specialist will provide direct security to the Director of Security, Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO). You will assist in all matters pertaining to the organization's OPSEC program, and may assist with Personnel Security, Physical Security, Operations Security, Industrial Security, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security, Special Access Program (SAP) Security, and visitor access control, depending upon your previous experience.

- Plans, develops, and implements operational security plans, policies, and procedures to ensure the protection of personnel, buildings, material, and equipment of RCCTO.
- Works with the OPSEC Manager by conducting OPSEC surveys of programs/projects determining hostile threats, sensitive aspects of possible interest to hostile collectors, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures.
- Ensures OPSEC training and briefings are provided to RCCTO personnel.
- Writes and regularly updates the RCCTO's Operations Security Plan and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Advises/aids developing program/project plans required by OPSEC taking into account Human Intelligence, Imagery Intelligence, Signals Intelligence, Photographic Intelligence, Electronic Warfare threat and military deception.
- 15+ years of in experience in a DoD security environment with a minimum of five years in OPSEC.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Previous OPSEC experience preferably in OPSEC program management to include writing policies and overseeing OPSEC program requirements.
- Experience in creating Critical Information Lists, Critical Program Information, and Program Protection Plans. Experience in additional security domains (Information, Industrial, Personnel, Physical) is highly desired.
- OPSEC Levell II training (preferred to be within last two years).
- Risk Management experience is a preferred.
- Good oral and written communications skills are required for correspondence, reports, briefings, and procedures, good verbal and listening communications skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and a professional image.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications.
