As a Senior Policy Manager your primary function is staffing within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, including HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts. The position will be responsible for providing staffing expertise and organizing and managing multiple tasks requiring close oversight to meet key schedules, and informing and working with senior leaders across multiple organizations for approvals.
Responsibilities include staffing and tracking packages across all Services, OSD and Joint Staff; organizing and simultaneous monitoring of multiple sets of data, key policies, and documents; prioritizing and distributing completed packages; and working with OSD level experts on reviewing and collaborating on new and updated policy. Individual needs a working knowledge of technical writing and engineering concepts, and must have the ability to work very well with Oversight Staff, Program Element Monitors, Mission Partner staffs, and Military Services' RDT&E and S&T processes and associated Congressional Reporting, security documentation, and staffing procedures.

Required Experience:
- 15+ + years' experience in Program Management/Program Management Support Role
- 3 + years' SAP Experience with at least 1 year in the past 5 years
- Record of successful program planning, tracking, and execution
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.
- Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative requiring minimal supervision
Education Requirements:
- B.S. degree
- B.S. degree in a technical discipline is desired
