Overview
Lead Supply Technician (EAGLE 2025-23273):
Bowhead seeks a Supply Technician in support of the Supply Division at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Aberdeen, MD. The Maintenance Division Supply Technician performs a combination of tasks to support departmental operations. Typical duties include: performing technical supply management, cataloging items, and completing inventory and storage management.
Individuals in this position belong to the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers, and any persons hired will be required to become a part of, and abide by, the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. Due to the location of this work, U.S. citizenship is required . Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.

Responsibilities
Essential functions will include:
- Performs technical supply management work related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
- Performs inventory and storage management.
- Catalogs items.
- Uses knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods and methods and manuals to complete assignments.
- Uses analytical ability to define or recognize the dimensions of the problems involved.
- Collects necessary data to establish factors or recommend action based on application or interpretation of established guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least two (2+) years of experience in an Army supply management system.
- Knowledge of Army supply/property management policies and procedures is required and qualified candidates must be highly skilled with GCSS-Army.
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
- Sit for long periods of time operating a computer keyboard.
- Repeat the same movements.
- Exposure to excessive noise.
