Job Title: Account Executive - DoD

Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Position requires Sr. sales professional with a proven ability to identify leads, qualify, develop and close business. Ideal candidate has solid sales experience with the US Air Force, its Major Commands and Programs along with a technical background in security software sales. Have the ability to work with prospects and customers on a daily and weekly basis to generate sales revenue and provide account management support. Demonstrate the ability to analyze the needs of prospects and customers and determine how to position the Everfox portfolio to competitively meet those needs.

Provide professional leadership and coordination to the sales support team on revenue opportunities including taking lead position in responding to RFI and RFQ submissions. The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the "sales steps to closure" and the internal financial planning and acquisition process of the assigned accounts is desired. Maintain an awareness of competitive offerings and strategies. Meet sales objectives established by management and communicate progress on a weekly basis through written and verbal communication.

Act as liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of products and services. Coordinate meetings and product demonstrations between company personnel, partners, prospects and customers. The candidate will be required to travel 40% of the time.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must have experience attaining or exceeding set sales quotas and objectives set by management.
  • Experience with multi-level security software and cyber security solutions in general to Department of Defense accounts.
  • Strong professional network.
  • Proven negotiating skills with the ability to develop and present winning proposals leading to profitable business.
  • Candidates must have superior communication skills as well as a strong commitment to quality service.
  • Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities such that the sales pipeline reflects the capability to meet and exceed sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Execute and adhere to the sales process with particular attention to opportunity identification, qualification and assessment for success.
  • Provide professional leadership and coordination to the sales support team on revenue opportunities to include RFI and RFQ responses.
  • Continue existing and develop new professional relationships with agencies, vendors and government bodies.
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with all staff, customers, and corporate support team members.
  • Understand competitors' strengths and weaknesses in order to effectively articulate the companies' competitive advantage.
  • Ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience selling directly to the Federal Government, primarily within the DOD with technical background in security software.
  • Able and willing to be submitted for Secret Clearance


Desired
  • Experience positioning and closing cross domain solutions.
  • Experience selling Advanced Persistent Threat/End Point Protection portfolios.
  • Active Security Clearance

The actual OTE offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
