Summary

The Quality Manager/Site Safety & Health Officer ensures compliance with Federal, DoD regulations, and industry standards for the Guard Force Services Contract. They enhance processes, identify and correct non-compliance, assess effectiveness, and liaise with DoD stakeholders. They also enforce the Contractor's safety program on-site and manage the Accident Prevention Plan.

This position is contingent upon contract award

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Quality Management System Plan, including policies, programs, procedures, a Quality Manual, Self-inspection Program, Audits, and Continuous Improvement to meet contract requirements.
  • Be available for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
  • Address hazards identified in the AHA.
  • Train on activity hazards and PPE or controls.
  • Provide feedback to improve activity safety.
  • Document safety and health controls being used and implemented.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have an Active Dod Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience in QMS programs on similar contracts.
  • Five years in safety programs on similar contracts, or three years with CSP certification or a safety/health degree.
  • Meet EM 385-1-1 requirements.
  • Completed OSHA 30-hour construction safety class or equivalent.
  • Maintain 24 hours of safety training every four years.
  • Ability to travel across the east coast.
  • Valid state driver's license.
