Position Title : Senior Developer
Position Location : This position is full time, on-site in the National Capital Region
Daily Responsibilities:
- Oversee platform operations, enhancements, and system security.
- Responsible for ensuring the platform aligns with business strategy, resolving technical escalations, responding to defects, and analyzing the impact of new requirements.
- Manage and execute change/release activities, including version control, update sets, plugin management, and configuration baselines.
- Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and support proactive platform health monitoring.
- Collaborate with platform engineers, developers, business analysts, and ISSO/ISSEs to ensure compliance with ATO and cyber standards (NIST 800-53, ICD 503).
- Support DR/COOP testing, module validation, and stakeholder demonstrations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, develop user stories, and support backlog grooming.
Required Years of Experience (min) :
- Five (5) years of experience in ServiceNow or a related field.
- At least two (2) years in a leadership or senior consultant role.
Required Degree/Certifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent related professional experience.
Required Experience & Expertise in the following areas :
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration and development in self-hosted or disconnected environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing scoped apps, update sets, and integrations.
- Experience with Agile development, technical documentation, and DevSecOps principles.
Required Clearance :
- Must be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph (active clearance preferred)
