TIAG is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Senior Technical Writer to lead the development of critical documentation for our Public Safety Systems (PSS) and advanced Digital Thread initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and actionable content for diverse audiences, driving documentation excellence across the engineering lifecycle.
This position is currently 100% remote and requires an active Secret clearance.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
This position is currently 100% remote and requires an active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities include:
- Author and revise comprehensive technical documents, including Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), white papers, technical architecture descriptions, and detailed system/software documentation for PSS and Digital Thread.
- Define and document end-to-end Digital Thread data flows, integration points, system architectures, and engineering/manufacturing process workflows from design through sustainment.
- Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), data lineage, quality standards, and governance policies for digital artifacts within the Digital Thread ecosystem.
- Create and deliver user guides, training materials, and conduct sessions for various stakeholders, ensuring effective knowledge transfer during system and contractor transitions.
- Design and deliver high-impact presentations and briefs for key program reviews (e.g., PRR, CDR, SRR) and stakeholder engagements.
- Contribute to and enforce documentation content strategy, information architecture, and adherence to company style guides, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify documentation gaps, recommend enhancements, and implement best practices for technical writing in a dynamic digital engineering environment.
Required Experience:
- Four (4) years of experience with as Associate's degree or 7 years of experience with High School/GED revising or writing standardized material reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications
- Ability to read and understand policies and procedures
- Experience in compliance with regulations and inspections
- Strong analytical and problems solving ability
- Strong and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with reviewing and coordinating documentation updates between teams
- A high degree of self-motivation and detail-orientation
- Bring positive energy and outcomes to support a close-knit team.
- Strong work ethic and a proven professional
- Prior DoD experience is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret (or higher) security clearance.
