Salary Range: $160,000 – $345,000 DOE

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead enterprise-wide technical strategy and innovation for the IRES contract in support of Department of Defense missions. The CTO will align technological initiatives with mission needs, foster innovation, and provide expert guidance on system architecture, cybersecurity, and digital modernization efforts. This position requires deep expertise in emerging technologies and strong leadership in both operational and strategic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and implement the overarching technology strategy for IRES to support mission-critical IT and cyber operations.
• Provide thought leadership in enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, DevSecOps, and zero trust security frameworks.
• Engage with government stakeholders, program managers, and technical teams to drive solutions that meet both tactical and strategic requirements.
• Evaluate and integrate new and emerging technologies to maintain technical superiority.
• Lead teams in developing scalable, resilient, and secure technology solutions aligned with DoD directives.
• Guide investment strategies in infrastructure, software, cybersecurity, and data analytics capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including RMF, NIST, and DoD IT policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in IT and/or systems engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale IT, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture initiatives within the DoD or IC.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a classified environment.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
• DoD 8570 IAM Level III or IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
• Experience supporting USAF or Space Force initiatives.
• Familiarity with IRES contract goals, systems, and operational environments.
• Expertise in hybrid/multi-cloud architecture, agile delivery, and automation platforms.
