Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert to join our team and provide senior-level consulting, project leadership, and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain knowledge in enterprise computing and/or large-scale software deployments, and be capable of advising executive stakeholders while driving project execution across cross-functional teams. The SME will serve as a strategic consultant, solution architect, and mentor with the ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex, high-visibility initiatives.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert to join our team and provide senior-level consulting, project leadership, and technical expertise. The SME will serve as a strategic consultant, solution architect, and mentor with the ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex, high-visibility initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level consulting services to clients, including advising senior management on long-term strategic planning, system architecture, and emerging technologies.
- Leverage specialized skills and subject matter expertise to support key projects, particularly in areas such as enterprise solutions, acquisition strategy, infrastructure design, and digital transformation.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to a range of stakeholders including executives, technical staff, and government clients.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in programming, documentation, testing, and deployment of enterprise-level solutions.
- Lead or participate in the development and review of technical documentation, reports, and design artifacts related to complex IT systems and enterprise computing environments.
- Support program management and project execution activities to meet organizational objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and track tasks to completion.
- Monitor and report on the status of internal and external project activities.
- Provide backup support to other team members and foster collaboration across technical teams.
- Support the viability analysis of network infrastructure plans, incorporating new technologies and ensuring product supportability.
- Act as a liaison between executive leadership and technical implementation teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application issues with minimal disruption to operations.
- May serve in a supervisory capacity or lead multidisciplinary project teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 16+ years of experience.
(If no relevant degree, an additional 4 years of relevant experience is required.) - Demonstrated ability to lead projects and guide daily activities of team members.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
- Must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust.
- Must have resided in the U.S. continuously for the last 5 years.
- Must not have traveled outside the U.S. for more than 6 months total in the last 5 years.
- Program Management Certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP)
- ITIL Foundations Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project tracking/reporting tools
- Prior experience working in government, defense, or highly regulated environments
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Compilation and reporting of program and project data to management
- Consulting on product feasibility, infrastructure design, and implementation strategies
- Advanced problem diagnosis and resolution support for critical systems
- Day-to-day project oversight and task management
- Development and delivery of technical documentation and reports
