Overall purpose of the role
Are you passionate about transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights? Join our Government Services team at International SOS as a Data Analyst and help drive high-quality, data-informed decision-making for programs that make a difference.
As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in creating, managing, and analyzing operational and business data, delivering meaningful reports, dashboards, and recommendations to leadership. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of data professionals and business leaders, leveraging your skills in SQL, Power BI, and predictive analytics to help optimize services and support critical government healthcare contracts.
What you'll do
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, data models, and reporting systems.
• Analyze business functions, operations, and performance metrics to support leadership decisions.
• Manage the intake, validation, mining, and visualization of data.
• Develop and optimize processes for data reporting, quality control, and analytics deliverables.
• Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide reporting support for contract deliverables and operational performance.
What you'll bring
• 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and data visualization best practices.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting automation, and predictive analytics using tools like Python, R, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset focused on data accuracy, problem-solving, and process improvement.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Power BI, SQL Server, or data analytics tools.
• Familiarity with government reporting processes or healthcare data analytics a plus.
• This position does require someone who can obtain and maintain the appropriate level of tiered investigation access for a position of Trust after being offered a position. International SOS will facilitate.
