ManTech seeks a motivated, career-focused, and customer-oriented Senior Mobile Developer to join an on-site team in either: Falls Church, VA, San Antonio, TX, Aurora, CO, or Tacoma, WA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications across platforms, with a focus on Progressive Web Apps (PWSs) and select native iOS/Android apps.
- Collaborate with UX designers, back-end developers, and share services engineers to deliver secure, user-friendly, and high-performing mobile solutions.
- Maintain and refactor existing mobile codebases, including legacy hybrid apps, ensuring alignment with DHA security and platform standards.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, microservices, and federated authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, SAML, CAC integration, etc).
- Support app deployment pipelines for external app store or internal mobile device management (MDM) systems.
- Lead code reviews and establish standards for knowledge sharing across all mobile development staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years of progressive experience as a mobile software developer with at least 1+ years as a senior developer or technical lead spanning multiple projects/teams simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline. Additional relevant military or professional experience (typically 4 years) may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Strong experience building Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), including deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, Flutter, or similar.
- Expertise with native iOS/Android (Swift/Kotlin/Java) environments, including advising customers on trade-offs between native vs. PWA approaches for specific use cases.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive layouts.
- Experience integrating apps with REST APIs, federated identity providers, and secure authentication flows.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug across device types and operating systems, including real-world MDM or Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) constraints.
- Prior experience working with user bases exceeding 10,000, preferably in contexts involving operational healthcare, clinical training, or readiness systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DoD or federal cybersecurity standards (RMF, STIG, IL4/IL5, HIPAA).
- Experience supporting Defense Health Agency (DHA), MHS, Veterans Administration (VA), or other federal health agencies.
- Familiarity with Azure App Services, Microsoft Identity Platform, or DHA-specific SDKs.
- Experienced implementing or leveraging containerized mobile backends, microservices, or mobile gateways in Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps, such as Fastlane, TestFlight, or Firebase.
- Certifications such as Azure Developer Associate, Google Associate Android Developer, iOS Developer (via Swift certifications), or similar.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.
- Ability to travel (car or air) and present at conferences or meetings.
