Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Peoplesoft HCM Consultant to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Consultant to support the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) modules. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and technical knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM applications, with hands-on experience in system configuration, business process design, and end-user support. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with HR stakeholders and IT teams.

Job Summary

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with HR stakeholders and IT teams.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, configure, test, and implement PeopleSoft HCM modules including Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, and Recruiting.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for PeopleSoft HCM, advising on best practices and solutions to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with functional HR users and cross-functional IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Support upgrades, patches, and ongoing maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM applications.
- Develop and execute test plans, perform system testing, and ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, user problems, and application errors.
- Provide user training and documentation for newly implemented features or updates.
- Participate in project planning, status meetings, and stakeholder communications.
- Support data conversion, integrations, and reporting requirements using tools like SQR, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and PS Query.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft HCM Consultant or similar role.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in one or more PeopleSoft HCM modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management).
- Solid understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, Application Designer, PeopleCode, and integration tools.
- Experience with PeopleTools (v8.5x or higher) and recent HCM versions (9.2 preferred).
- Proficient in SQL and PS Query for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working in an Agile or hybrid development environment.
- Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid UI and self-service functionalities.
- Familiarity with third-party integrations and interface development.
- Knowledge of U.S. payroll rules and benefits regulations.
- Previous experience in public sector, healthcare, or higher education environments.
