Electronic Assembler 2 professional to join our team and grow with us. Applicants must be detail oriented, calm under pressure, and well organized. Applicants must have the ability and strong desire to learn. Electronic Assembler 2 will be supporting our AARGM and SiAW programs. This position is on-site only.
Due to the nature of the work, the selected candidate will be part of a team that works closely together, so ethical and respectful team interaction and communication are of the utmost importance. Even though this position is in a team environment and set up for team success, the selected candidate will be required to work independently with little supervision. Occasional heavy lifting and occasional overtime may be required.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, can perform tasks under a stereo zoom microscope, fine pitch soldering of circuit card assemblies, and intricate wire harnesses.
The qualified candidate needs to be able to work from diagrams, drawings, and work instructions to meet customer requirements. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed work. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble.
The chosen candidate will need to successfully complete in-house workmanship criteria training classes for continued employment.
Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications Assembler 2
High School diploma or GED with 4+ years of assembly or electronic experience
Ability to perform tasks from written directions and drawings.
Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and quality.
Ability to flex between job responsibilities based on business demand.
Ability to perform manufacturing / assembly tasks, at a high level, in a metric-based work environment.
Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds from one location to another and wear basic PPE.
Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications for Assembler 2:
IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and/or J-STD-001 certifications
Active DOD clearance
Associate degree in an electronic or technical discipline."
