We're looking for a highly motivated Associate DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the operational aspects of our DevSecOps framework, assisting with security tool integration, infrastructure monitoring, and supporting the secure deployment of our critical systems within a complex enterprise environment.
What You’ll Do:
● Support Security Tool Operations: Assist with the implementation, configuration, and
day-to-day operation of DevSecOps tools within CI/CD pipelines and production
environments.
● Assist with Secure IaC Deployment: Work with Terraform configurations for
infrastructure provisioning, ensuring compliance with security baselines and assisting in
the deployment of secure cloud resources.
● Operationalize Identity & Access Controls: Support the management and
operationalization of IAM policies, roles, and user access within cloud environments and
integrated enterprise systems.
● Enhance Operational Security: Perform operational tasks to harden existing systems,
apply security patches, and ensure compliance with established security best practices
and policies across the enterprise.
● Support API Integrations: Assist in the integration of security tools and operational
data streams via APIs with various internal and external systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
● Active DHS Public Trust Clearance with ability and willingness to process for Top Secret
clearance
● Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
● 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, DevSecOps, or cloud operations role
● Practical experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including configuring
and managing basic services
● Exposure to monitoring tools like Splunk or Datadog for operational insights and basic
security monitoring
● Experience with ticketing systems and change management processes
● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an eagerness to learn from senior
engineers
Bonus Points/Desired Skills:
● Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals)
● Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for infrastructure
deployment
● Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of operational tasks
● Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
● Familiarity with basic network security concepts (e.g., firewalls, security groups)
● Exposure to identity management concepts (e.g., Active Directory, SSO)
● Familiarity with security principles and a desire to learn more about application and
infrastructure security
