Selected candidate will support program operation on-site at our Fort Huachuca facility.
How a Senior Windows System Administrator will make an impact:

• Manages the functionality, communication, and efficiency of interconnected computers running on one or more operating systems.
• Design, plan, implement, and administer enterprise level systems and server solutions in a virtualized infrastructure.
• Develop, plan and implement processes to maintain integrity and security of servers and systems.
• Sets up and manages administrator and service accounts.
• Performs analysis, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery for servers.
• Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.
• Design, develop, and document PowerShell or other equivalent scripts for administrative functions.
• Identify the need, create and maintain system documentation.
• Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.
• Provide tier 1 and 2 support.
• Configure, manage, and maintain servers within a VMWare virtualized environment.
• Working knowledge of maintaining systems, applying STIGs and patches, and performing firmware updates.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012r2 and 2016 servers.
• Working knowledge with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) servers (preferred).
• Experience with McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS) - agents and ePolicy Orchestrator (EPO).
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Ability to participate in special projects as required.
• May be assigned as a team lead.

What you'll need to succeed (Required):

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 8570 Certification/IAT Level II Certification to include CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP required. In addition, a second Microsoft Windows (MCSA) or equivalent computing environment certificate is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with systems admin Windows Server 2012 or later.
  Experience with Windows Server 2012+, STIGs and HBSS.
• Experience training/mentoring associate and intermediate level team members.
