Job Title: Network Administrator II
Job Location: Montgomery Alabama 36109
Onsite Requirements:
* Palo Alto Experience
* Network configuring and troubleshooting experience
* Secret Clearance required
Job Description:
* Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments.
* Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads.
* Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible.
* Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re-work or for auditing/investigation purposes.
* Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves.
* Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation.
Experience:
* 3+ years' experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
Required Qualifications:
* Secret
* IAT-II (Sec+)
* CCNA (90 days given to obtain one):
Shifts Available:
* Days 7am-3pm
* Afternoons 3pm-11pm
* Midnight 11pm-7am
Preferred Qualifications:
* Intermediate level understanding and experience with Enterprise network architectures and configurations is highly desired.
* **3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.
* This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States, directly for an employer, without sponsorship now or anytime in the future.
