Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to support a DoD program located in Sierra Vista, AZ. This position requires fully onsite attendance and an active Secret clearance. This role involves maintaining enterprise-level network solutions, supporting 24/7 operations, and collaborating with technical teams to optimize and secure network infrastructure.

Responsibilities of the Senior Network Security Engineer:
- Operate and maintain secure, centralized network solutions in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Perform policy/configuration changes and manage service tickets via JIRA and ServiceNow.
- Provide situational awareness and escalate issues as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and support legacy and modern network environments.
- Identify and implement network optimization strategies.
Qualifications of the Senior Network Security Engineer:
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering and security.
- Experience with:
- Palo Alto NGFW
- SDN concepts
- VMware and Red Hat
- InfoVista
- Cisco, Juniper, Dell, AppGate technologies
- LAN/WAN, BGP, TCP/UDP, VPN, Firewalls
- Active Security+ certification (or relevant IAT II cert)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Compensation for the Senior Network Security Engineer:
- $130,000-150,000/year *flexible based on experience*
