Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Penetration Tester to support a close-knit team on-site in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a direct placement opportunity focused on providing support for DoD programs with the Air Force and Space Force. The Penetration Tester will support a sandbox environment with penetration testing for embedded systems, weapons, and aircrafts. This position requires travel 1-2 times/month, 3 months out of the year (roughly 30%).
Responsibilities for the Penetration Tester:
• Provide offensive cyber security support utilizing penetration testing tools such as NMAP, WireShark, BurpSuite, Bloodhound, etc.
• Support the compliance testing, vulnerability assessments, and penetration assessments for embedded systems, weapons and aircraft systems, wireless, and AP systems.
• Conduct independent testing, data collection, develop test tools, and support various operating systems.
• Document results and provide support for management and planning of CVI, ACD, and CVPA.
Required Qualifications for the Penetration Tester include:
• 3+ years of experience with offensive penetration testing supporting DoD teams or environments
• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to travel 30% of the time (Travel is paid with advanced notice)
• Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
• Preferred: Relevant certifications (CISSP, CASP+, OSCP, etc.)
Compensation for the Penetration Tester include:
• Salary Range: $100,000-130,000 **depending on experience**
• Full Standard Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k plan, Sick leave as required by law
