Job Description

As a Security Professional Armed Patrol in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a government location by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. This position is an armed post and requires a valid armed guard card or license. Additionally, you must possess a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving is a requirement for this role. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or have an equivalent qualification. This requirement may be completed post hire if not already met.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located if the position requires driving.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
