As an Actions Officer supporting a busy front office communications team, you'll be the lynchpin ensuring the whole operation runs smoothly. You'll issue, respond to, and track requests for talking points, leadership speaking engagements, upcoming events, and requests for updates on significant happenings around the organization. You must have top notch organizational skills, be able to keep track of and meet competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You'll always be looking for ways to make processes more efficient, meet client needs, and deliver world-class client support. Your professionalism and skill will show in your daily work product and interaction with colleagues.
You're editing skills will come into play as you review products before they go out, ensuring correct grammar and punctuation, as well as consistency in tone and overall messaging. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to anticipate your audience's needs to ensure messages hit the mark.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment
- Experience writing and editing professional products for multiple audiences
- Knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style guides
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet often tight deadlines
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience as an Actions Officer, Executive Officer, Systems Integrator, or similar leadership support role
- Experience supporting senior leaders
- Knowledge of client systems and process
- Master's degree
