Industrial Security Specialist (CSO)

This position will work with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization. Must be self-driven and results oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently across a diverse program landscape. This position will be appointed as an Alternate Contractor Security Officer (ACSO).

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Be part of the Security Team responsible for all aspects of Security, at 2 Florida locations
• Provides day to day multi-disciplined security oversight
• Coordinate clearance processing and program access
• Provides classified meeting support
• Provides critical security support to the site's program managers, engineering managers and leadership team
• Develops and administers programmatic security education programs
• Assists CSO with the daily operations of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs)
• Maintains security standards and compliance of requirements set forth in ICDs, 32 CFR National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other applicable manuals
• Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plan, work instructions/plans and classified and/or proprietary test plans
• Investigates security violations and prepare reports detailing procedures to preclude future occurrences

Required Skills:

• Requires a TS/SCI Clearance
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload in fast paced environment
• Ability to build rapport, interact professionally, and foster a cooperative work environment with a diverse population of people
