The Work
The Mid-Tier Intelligence Planner is responsible for developing and synchronizing theater-level intelligence plans aligned with strategic objectives. This planner facilitates coordination across agencies, ensures alignment with campaign plans, and provides critical input during joint planning processes and exercises.

Pay Range
USD $141,059.00 - USD $169,040.00 /Yr.

The Work
The Mid-Tier Intelligence Planner is responsible for developing and synchronizing theater-level intelligence plans aligned with strategic objectives. This planner facilitates coordination across agencies, ensures alignment with campaign plans, and provides critical input during joint planning processes and exercises.
This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Identify Defense Intelligence knowledge gaps and develop strategies to mitigate them through planning.
- Conduct and provide assessments of intelligence planning postures, capabilities, and shortfalls.
- Translate strategic guidance into actionable intelligence planning postures, capabilities, and shortfalls.
- Plan, prepare, and facilitate exercises and training events to validate intelligence planning processes.
- Orchestrate the command's efforts to synchronize intelligence support across multiple domains and partners.
- Support campaign planning and deliberate contingency planning as part of the joint planning process.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including operational planners, analysts, and intelligence components.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications - Here's What You Need
- Upper graduate certification in Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence (MSSI) from the National Intelligence University (NIU), or an equivalent service school (Equivalent service schools)
- Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS)
- School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS)
- Maritime Advanced Warfighting School (MAWS)
- Air Force School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS)
- Marine Corps School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW)
- National War College (NWC)
- Eisenhower School (formerly Industrial College of the Armed Forces)
- Army War College, Naval War College, Air War College, Marine Corps War College
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in intelligence planning in a joint or combatant command environment
- Expertise in Intelligence campaign planning, Defense intelligence enterprise functions, Theater-level contingency planning, Joint Planning Process for Intelligence (JPP-I)
- Top Secret SCI clearance is required.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Minimum Skills Required:
- Must possess problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
- Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
- Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
- Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in developing intelligence support plans for Indo-Pacific operations
- Planning intelligence support for joint and coalition exercises
- Facilitating wargames or rehearsal of concept (ROC) drills

Working Conditions
- Professional office environment.
- Ability to work onsite at the clients' facility at Camp Smith, HI.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
- Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
- May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
- May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
- May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
