DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES:
All Points is seeking a dedicated Cleared Junior MBSE Systems Engineer to join our Team in Huntsville, AL. Canidates MUST have an active, current, and fully adjudicated US DoD Secret Clearance (or higher).
EDUCATION:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering classification, mathematics, or physics
- 1-10 years
Required:
- Active, current, and fully adjudicated US Department of Defense Secret Clearance (or higher) is required. No exceptions.
- S trong technical background in architecture development, functional decomposition, requirements development and allocation, and interface definition with system-modelling tools.
- Demonstrate knowledge the use of SysML to describe behaviors of a complex DoD system.
- Must possess experience supporting a DoD or commercial program.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to think critically and capture concepts in papers, presentations, and discussions.
- Individuals must possess good communication skills.
- Capable of working both independently and within a small team environment.
- Knowledge of systems engineering disciplines and processes is desired.
- Ability to work independently, taking the initiative to determine the work to be performed and pursue the training, mentoring, and skills necessary to perform the task as well and within a small team environment.
- Ability to perform analysis of system of systems and develop interoperability requirements for lower-level systems.
- Ability to develop and apply verification and validation methodologies, processes, logic, and planning.
- Ability to define functional interface requirements for allocation to design documentation
- Ability to work across programs functions to perform issue analysis and development of resolution paths forward.
- Systems engineering experience in one-or-more of BMD systems or capabilities similar to: EO/IR sensors, RF/Radar sensors, kill vehicles,missiles/interceptors, threats & countermeasures, target discrimination, or command and control (i.e., C2BMC) strongly desired.
- Previous experience and knowledge of ballistic and advanced threat systems (e.g., aero-maneuvering, hypersonic, hyper-glide, countermeasures, etc.).
- Modeling and analysis experience in aspects of the missile defense system (e.g., Aegis Weapons Systems, Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD), Glide Phase Intercept (GPI), Hypersonic and Ballistic Tracking Space Sensor (HBTSS), Fire Control, C2BMC, MDS sensors (EO/IR/RF), kill vehicles, interceptors, countermeasures, etc.). is not required but demonstrated experience modeling or simulating missile defense applications or similar domains (air combat, air defense, intercept of ballistic targets, intercept of non-ballistic targets, space vehicles, sub-orbital mechanics, etc.) is highly preferred.Accreditation Board for
