Qualifications & Compensation:
● 12+ years of experience; $302,000/year total compensation
● Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 4 additional years of experience
● No certification requirements
Job Description:
● Develop scalable data ingest pipelines and REST APIs for a web-based analytical platform
● Support microservice architecture and NoSQL systems like Elasticsearch, Dgraph, or MongoDB
● Work in a 6-person sub-team embedded within a 20+ person dev team
● Collaborate with analysts and engineers to ensure robust, mission-aligned performance
● Primary stack includes Java, Spring Boot, Git, Maven, and Linux; familiarity with Jira and Confluence expected
● Help streamline onboarding of new data sources and improve team tooling
● Bonus experience includes: Apache NiFi, AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda), Python/Groovy/Bash scripting, Vue.js, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Packer)
