Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Individual will assist in establishing, developing and updating property management records, managing and supporting source documentation retention requirements, analyzing and compiling property documents related to financial or loss reporting, and developing briefings and information papers for senior leaders.
  • Individual will assist in the efforts to request and receive supporting documents as needed and to ensure all contracts with Government Furnished Property (GFP) have the correct clauses enabling the government to keep track of and visit all locations in possession of the GFP.
  • Individual will assist in the management of property accountability via Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), 1149, DD Form 2062, DD Form 3161, SF 153, DA Form 3964, or as appropriate for transactions.
  • Individual will travel to support CONUS site audits as required.
  • Individual will assist in managing and conducting semiannual physical inventories or more frequently as directed by Logistics Division Chief.


Basic Qualifications:
  • BS Degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience required, experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • Requires an active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience in any aspect of government property management, which consists of, but not limited to procurement, maintenance, inventory, disposal, storage, transfer, site audits, custodial inventories, survey reports, and administrator of property required.
  • Must be familiar with AR 710-2.
  • Individual must have knowledge of DPAS, Microsoft Office: Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Individual shall have a minimum of two-year experience in any aspect of government property management, which consists of, but not limited to procurement, maintenance, inventory, disposal, storage, transfer, site audits, custodial inventories, survey reports, and administrator of property.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP) experience is preferred.
  • Contract experience to include Government Property FAR Part 45/DFARS Part 245 References and clauses is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with non-fielded, fielded, and Government Furnished Property.
