The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network – Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. The Lone Wolf program boasts a professional workforce comprised of specialists throughout the Information Technology lifecycle and who contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Systems Engineer MECM include, but are not limited to, the following:
Architect and design scalable solutions to support the dynamic and growing requirements of the DCIN-TS Enterprise Services (ES) environment, ensuring long-term sustainability and adaptability.
Develop and implement industry-standard best practices for patch management, covering both routine updates and zero-day vulnerabilities. Ensure all processes are thoroughly documented for seamless operational handoff and sustainment by the operations team.
Provide Tier 3 support to assist the operations team with the deployment of applications and application updates, ensuring deployments align with pre-defined functional and security criteria.
Deliver Tier 2 support to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to failed patch deployments, application malfunctions, or conflicts arising during the patching process.
Create detailed documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for newly established processes, including manual steps, to facilitate knowledge transfer, soft handoffs, and effective cross-training among support personnel.
Manage and maintain the MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and integration with future third-party tools or enhancements.
Monitor and track Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs), compiling and delivering performance and compliance reports as required.
Collaborate closely with enterprise and program security teams to ensure all security requirements and controls are implemented and maintained within established deadlines.
Research emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their applicability to DCIN-TS ES operations, and present findings and recommendations that align with mission objectives and customer needs.
Foster clear, consistent, and collaborative communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and external customers to support alignment, transparency, and shared understanding across all levels.
Qualifications - External
Requirements:
Proven experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and its required components.
Experience in managing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) in a multi-forest environment.
Comprehensive understanding of Active Directory and its seamless integration with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) environments.
In-depth understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, clustering technologies, and database replication.
Thorough understanding of Pre-boot execution environments (PXE) including its interaction with layer 3 devices and DHCP.
Proven experience in automation using Microsoft PowerShell and other scripting technologies.
Proven experience in creating comprehensive reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
Proven experience in creating dynamic task sequences to automate the installation and upgrade of operating systems.
Extensive experience in developing and deploying software packages using MSI, MSIX, EXE, and other scripting technologies.
A thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation operating systems.
Experience in documenting and implementing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements.
Proven track record of identifying and recommending technology solutions that enhance customer satisfaction, support mission objectives, and drive operational improvements
Must be able to work a 40-hour work week, normally Monday through Friday
Ability to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last-minute requests for overtime if needed
Ability to travel (20-25%) primarily within 75 miles
Familiarity with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Project and Visio
Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong critical thinking, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Clearance Required:
Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or TS with the ability to acquire SCI
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma

Required Certifications:
Ability to meet or exceed DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 Requirements, to include CE certification
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in IT related field
