HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree in technical STEM, or demonstrated equivalent operations experience.
• Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience executing mission systems experience
• Required Technical Skills:
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with polygraph
• Location: On Customer Site
• US Citizenship Required

HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Manages the functionality and efficiency of Mission IT networks (LAN).
- Coordinate with COMM Network provider
- Plans and executes Mission IT network upgrades and expansion to ensure optimal performance and capacity.
- Monitors network performance and troubleshoots and resolves network problems to maintain operating efficiency and ensure quality transmission service on the network.
- Uses subject matter expertise to diagnose and solve issues and has authority to deviate from standard operating procedures
- Provides technical guidance to Mission IT staff and end users regarding network related issues.
- Develops and implements network security policies and procedures to protect the organizations data and resources.
- Configures and maintains network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls.
- Provides network upgrades as required
- Implements and manages security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPNs.
- Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy requirements.
- Develops and maintains disaster recovery plans to ensure network resilience and continuity in case of emergencies.
- Works closely with IA/ISSO to support ConMon and RMF processes
- Coordinate with Network Vendors as part of tier 4 escalation
- Participates in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree in technical STEM, or demonstrated equivalent operations experience.
• Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience executing mission systems experience
• Required Technical Skills:
- Preferably experience with IC customer.
- Will need experience working with Senior level visibility customers.
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with polygraph
• Location: On Customer Site
• US Citizenship Required
