Overview
Nakupuna Services is seeking a Chief Talent Management Office Subject Matter Expert (SME). The Chief Talent Management Office SME provides high-level advisory and analytical support for talent management support services and brings deep knowledge and experience in talent management policies for military and/or civilian workforces. This position will support specific task orders requiring expert insight and is expected to engage directly with senior government stakeholders and integrated project teams.

Education and Experience:
Clearance Requirements: Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred or required based on task order. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Location: Varies by task order. May include on-site at the Pentagon, Wright-Patterson AFB, or other federal sites. Remote work is possible based on client needs and approval.

- Provide subject matter expertise in Chief Talent Management Office support, including talent management policies for military and/or civilian workforces.
- Lead or support the development of policy recommendations, operational strategies, and implementation plans.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform leadership decisions.
- Support the development of briefings, reports, and written products.
- Advise Government clients on best practices, program risks, and operational impacts.
- Participate in working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Provide peer review and quality assurance for technical deliverables.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the following areas:
- Experience supporting the development and oversight of policies and programs related to talent management of military and civilian workforces.
- Experience supporting efforts to recruit and retain eligible military and/or civilian workforces to fulfill the mission of DOD or other federal agencies.
- Experience supporting the development and implementation of best practices for tracking talent and encouraging permeability of that talent across DOD or other federal agencies.
- Recognized industry, academic, or government leader in their field.
- Bachelor's degree required; master's or doctoral degree preferred.
- Experience supporting the Department of Defense or federal agencies preferred.
