Overview:
This request outlines the objectives, deliverables, scope, and timelines for the telecom and technology expenses audit and management software service project. The contractor will assume primary responsibility for carrying out the vast majority of the tasks. Local County Government client will provide oversight and approve major deliverables. The goal of this project is to audit telecom and technology expenses and recommend and implement an effective management software solution.
Scope of Work:
Review Existing Telecom & Technology Contracts: The contractor will analyze Local County Government client's existing telecom and technology contracts (starting with voice, data, etc.) to identify any billing errors, overcharges, and opportunities for renegotiation or cost savings.
Expense Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of telecom and technology expenses, identifying discrepancies and inefficiencies.
Recommendations: Provide detailed recommendations for cost-saving measures, service consolidation, improved reliability or redundancy, and renegotiation opportunities.
Reports & Analysis: The contractor will provide all necessary documentation, including reports, analysis, and recommendations. The reports and analysis will help Montgomery County efficiently utilize telecom and technology services and accurately budget for expenses going forward.
Responsibilities:
Perform work outlined in this Request, including conducting the telecom and technology expenses audit, and delivering ongoing support, invoice reviews for telecom expenses, analysis, reports, and recommendations.
Deliver all audit reports and optimization recommendations.
Work side-by-side with County staff to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality and safeguard all sensitive data shared during the project. The contractor will adhere to strict data security standards to ensure that Local County Government client’s telecom expense data is always protected.

Monthly Audit Report: This is a comprehensive report outlining the findings of the telecom and technology expenses audit, highlighting discrepancies and potential savings.
Monthly Expense Optimization Recommendations: This is a detailed set of recommendations for reducing telecom and technology costs, consolidating services, increasing reliability and redundancy.
