Operations Support Analyst

Key Role:

Support planning at theater, operational, and tactical levels with a focus on the United States Marine Corps (USMC) to support Combatant Command contingency and operational plans. Develop schedules, plans of action and milestones, and products for planning, coordination, collaboration, and presentation. Provide analysis for maritime support plans in AFRICOM and EUCOM areas of responsibility. Analyze personnel and command and control (C2) requirements and capabilities to enable USMC operations in theater. Lead team efforts to organize, schedule, collaborate, task, and monitor key actions and milestones necessary to execute events of operational planning teams and cross-functional teams. Provide expertise and support on doctrine, procedures, concept of operations or concept of employment, and event after-action reports. Describe capability requirements through an operational lens to assist decision-makers with resourcing and allocation decisions. Identify and document relevant doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, and policy issues, and make recommendations for improvements to support Marines in theater.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting military planning at theater, operational, or tactical levels
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI
  • Experience with C2IE and Maven Smart Systems
  • Experience leading joint planning teams, operational planning teams, and battle rhythm events
  • Experience in planning large-scale events with military headquarters staff elements
  • Experience with the Joint Planning Process, Navy Planning Process, Marine Corps Planning Process, or Military Decision-Making Process, including Adaptive Planning and Execution
  • Knowledge of naval and joint doctrine
  • Ability to coordinate across staff functions and command echelons and brief senior-level customers, including general and flag officers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree


Additional Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with joint operations planning at the service component or combatant command level
  • Experience with Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) concepts
  • Master's degree


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
