Principal Systems Specialist

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is searching for a talented candidate to join our Microelectronics Analysis Division for the role of Principal Systems Specialist.

Candidate needs to have innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and adaptive thinking. They must work well in a fast-paced mission-driven environment. This person will work with multiple facilities and collaborative teams comprised of government, contractor, and industry personnel. There may be some travel associated with this position.

This position is 100% onsite and falls under the category of Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support services.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Preventive maintenance and repair of lab test equipment.
• Manufacturing prototype cabling and test fixtures consisting of wiring, soldering and custom laser cut holding assemblies.
• Assist with the procurement of hardware, accessories and services required for daily lab functions.
• Provide support to facility personnel to ensure proper requested facility modifications are completed as prescribed.
• Assist customers with safety checks and inspections.
• Develops Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules and conducts periodic checks and services for supported equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Performs design, modification, maintenance and repair of critical facility infrastructure components.
• Provides technical support in maintaining the integrity of facility infrastructure.
• Applies quality assurance procedures in organizing and posting data collected relative to support systems use and status.
• Produces written technical reports outlining technical findings and recommendations.
• As required, supports facility construction surveillance requirements as Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) or escort for uncleared personnel.

Desired skills:

• First responder Medical support.

Required Skills:

• Active Top Secret SSBI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Travel may be required.

Required Experience:

• Associates Degree plus 25 years minimum relevant experience.
