Take2 is in search of a Network Engineer with an Active Secret Clearance or higher to support an office under the Secretary of Defense. Applicants must be a US Citizen and must have the following for consideration:
Active Secret Clearance or higher
Security + and 8570 certifications i.e. CCNA. Would prefer someone with CCNA or CCNP
Willingness to sit on-site at client location in Seaside, CA
The Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) IT GEMS program seeks one strong Network Engineer (mid to senior range with 10+ years of experience) to join the IT Operations team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

What You’ll Do
Be the backbone of our network infrastructure as a Network Engineer. Your day-to-day will include:
Monitoring, administering, and maintaining network equipment to ensure seamless performance • Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups to keep our systems secure
Protecting our data, software, and hardware with expert network security measures
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues with ease
Replacing faulty network hardware components to maintain system integrity
Monitoring network performance to identify areas for improvement
Collaborating with network users to solve existing system problems
Operating master consoles to monitor network and computer system performance
Providing complete lifecycle support for our enterprise network assets
What You’ll Bring
Experience with DoD STIG Security Technology Implementation Guide Process
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
A strong background in network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Expertise in security measures and network security technologies
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
