ISN is seeking a qualified Project Manager to help oversee a program that provides support services for a full range of strategic and tactical day to-day security and investigative support services that are required to support on-going and future FBI operations and management initiatives.
The Project Manager leads multiple or large tasks/projects in delivering a solution to the customer in accordance with the contract requirements; manages the project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables; implements strategies for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management; manages project resources, including subcontractors; establishes an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer. Provide day-to-day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer. Formulates and enforces work standards; assigns schedules; reviews work discrepancies; supervises personnel; assists in all project management task performances; prepares, reviews, and submits required reports; communicates organizational policies, purpose, and goals subordinates. May require PMP certification.
Work Description
• Serves as the principal point of contact authorized to interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO) or the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
• Oversees all personnel assigned to a project; keeps the Program Manager informed of all problems, progress, and accomplishments.
• Provides information security support and performs security BIs on individuals requesting security clearances.
• Provides management for investigative services and case control management support required to complete Personnel Security Interviews (PSIs).
• Monitors all investigative personnel and reviews investigative reports produced by lower-level staff.
• Be available on-site to review and address concerns from case managers and individuals responsible for quality control.
• Takes corrective action on missing information to ensure cessation of errors.
• Participates in training field investigators.
Qualifications
• Minimum of ten (10) of years of experience managing projects and supervising people.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.
• At least five (5) years of experience directly related to managing or performing responsibilities similar to those described in the Order’s PWS.
