HOW A STORAGE ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting database backups
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to NetApp and Commvault systems
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, best practices, and standard operating procedures
• Mentor and train other support engineers in the team, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Stay current with the latest NetApp technologies, best practices, and certifications
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issues
• Ensure all storage devices are security compliant
• Contribute to monitoring of team metrics and KPIs, ensuring the health and success of the service
• Collaborate with other cross-functional teams in both engineering and security.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI wPoly
• Preferred Skills:
• Location: On Site
• US Citizenship Required
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified - Required

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrate an understanding of technology as it pertains to infrastructure and applications and be able to provide design recommendations.
- Proven track record in designing and managing enterprise storage environments.
- Expert knowledge of NetApp ONTAP hardware, software, and associated features (e.g., Snapshot, SnapVault, FlexClone, SnapMirror, FlexVol, Fabric Pool, and Object Storage).
- Proficiency in NAS protocols, including NFS and SMB.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical and performance issues in storage in storage environments.
- Knowledge of the NetApp storage grid.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and their integration with storage systems.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus
- Windows and UNIX knowledge.
