Job Description

Base-2 Solutions is looking for a talented and enthusiastic undergraduate or graduate student aspiring to enter the hi-tech and/or government contracting industry to join us as a Human Resources Intern for Summer/fall 2025. This internship will allow you to collaborate with professionals to tackle real HR challenges, review and analyze HR data, and understand benefits. The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, are eager to learn, and able to commit 20 - 25 hours a week through December 2025. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
  • Support the onboarding and off-boarding processes by preparing documentation, and tracking compliance checklists
  • Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Help draft and update internal HR documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Assist with benefits administration support, such as enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
  • Compile HR data and metrics for reporting and auditing purposes (e.g., turnover, time-to-fill).
  • Participate in employee engagement activities and internal communications initiatives.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices, employment law, and compliance issues to relevant to federal contractors.
  • Conduct Data Review and analytics.


Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadline in a fast-paced enviornment.
  • Prior internship or work experience in an HR environment with a government contractor is a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
