Job Title: Audit Support Administrator
Location: Dayton, Ohio (hybrid), Remote may be considered

Overview
CompTech is seeking a qualified Audit Support Administrator with IAT – II Security+ and preferably PMI CAPM certification, to play a key role in facilitating successful financial, internal, and compliance audits.

Scope of Work

Managing audit documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and ensuring timely completion of audit tasks. The role also includes overseeing Provided-By-Client (PBC) requests, exception reporting, and corrective action plans, as well as contributing to risk management documentation and SharePoint control processes. The ideal candidate is a proactive team leader with a strong focus on quality assurance and the ability to manage time-sensitive, ad-hoc tasks across the enterprise.


Key responsibilities include:
• Support audit engagement activities for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), providing subject matter expertise, process improvement recommendations, and industry best practices to enhance audit workflows, business rules, and guidance.
• Perform audit operations and analytics, including the management of Provided-By-Client (PBC) requests, Notifications of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs), Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), and exception reporting.
• Lead the end-to-end management of PBCs and CAPs using the designated audit response tools, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with audit leads and internal contacts to maintain and update key documentation such as the Management Description of the System (MDS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Complementary User Entity Controls (CUECs), and Complementary Subservice Organization Controls (CSOCs).
• Conduct SOC 1 analyses for Subservice Organizations (SSOs).
• Track and report completion of Monthly Financial Reports (MFRs).
• Provide consistent audit support for recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Certification Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of audit engagement experience, including providing expert recommendations and industry best practices to support continuous improvement of audit processes, guidance, business rules, and workflows.
• Experience organizing and preparing audit documentation, including policies, procedures, and system configurations, for auditor review.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity and information assurance policies and procedures.
• Ability to proactively identify potential weaknesses and vulnerabilities in IT systems and processes prior to audits.
• Experience assisting in the design and implementation of IT controls to remediate identified gaps and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Skilled in developing and implementing corrective action plans to address audit findings and recommendations.
• Experience evaluating the effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGCs), including access controls, change management, and data backup procedures.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Security + Certification
• PMI CAPM or similar preferred

Salary Range: $80k - $110k plus a robust benefits package including PTO and 401k+
