Position Overview:
(U) The candidate will join a team of developers designing, developing, and testing a interactive task management framework.
Required Qualifications:
• (U) Bachelor’s Degree and six (6) years of experience OR minimum ten (10) years of experience in relevant field,
• (U) Minimum eight (8) years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, and/or Python,
• (U) Minimum six (6) years of experience with programming CNO tools and techniques,
• (U) Minimum five (5) years of experience managing and supervising teams in support of Government CNO capability development,
• (U) Minimum five (5) years of experience programming CNO tools for the US Government,
• (U) Minimum four (4) years’ experience in network sockets programming and application-level protocols.
Specialized Qualifications:
• (U) Experience with designing and writing code in Python and/or JavaScript,
• (U) Understanding of the entire web development process,
• (U) Solid grasp of content management systems (e.g., Django) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.JS, Ember.JS),
• (U) Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with designers, developers, and mission customers,
• (U) Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems,
• (U) Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements,
• (U) Ability to gather requirements and design a solution with minimal oversight,
• (U) Experience with project management best practices such as Scrum and Kanban methodologies, and
• (U) Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) along with understanding of basic configuration management principles.
