We are working with a well-established, privately held company headquartered in the Mid-Atlantic region. They have been in business for nearly a century and are one of the nation’s largest wholesale distributors. They are seeking an experienced .NET Software Developer to join their collaborative in-house IT team in Glen Burnie, MD.
This is a direct hire position offering stability, hands-on development work, and the chance to be part of a close-knit, long-standing business that values technology as a core component of its operations.
This role is ONSITE in GLEN BURNIE, MD. Our client is unable to offer sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing robust, scalable full-stack software solutions using .NET (C#), Java/Java EE, and SQL Server
Enhancing and maintaining internal applications to support business operations across a national footprint
Collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and operational stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions
Troubleshooting application issues and monitoring system performance in a high-volume environment
Participating in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment
Working onsite to support real-time interactions with systems, users, and vendor technologies
Qualifications:
ABILITY AND WILLINGNESS TO WORK ONSITE IN GLEN BURNIE, MD
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
6+ years of hands-on software development experience with:
.NET, C#, ASP.NET
SQL Server
Java/Java EE
Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles, SDLC, and scalable system architecture
Experience with front-end tools such as jQuery, SOAP/REST web services, and mobile platform support (iOS/Android) is a plus
Preferred experience:
Apache Tomcat, SOLR, Classic ASP, Data Services
Epicor Prophet 21, especially portal or business rules implementation
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for documentation and internal communication
Sponsorship is not available – Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range of $80K-$110K, based on experience, qualifications, and certifications. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
