SUPPLY ROOM - LEAD

Summary:

The supply room clerk maintains inventory of spare parts for the plant.

The position is a M - F, 8am - 4pm, 40 hour/week job with occasional overtime required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen, as this job is within a Secured Facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor all supply room items and keep inventory properly stocked.
• Daily receive all deliveries to the supply room.
• Match packing slips with purchase order, sending both to accounting department.
• Communicate directly with vendors as necessary
• Order materials to stock the supply room using Epicor and Spendwise systems
• Maintain records and keep financial conversations confidential.
• Maintain a clean and neat supply room including shelves, aisles and floors.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interfacing with external vendors.
• Perform additional duties as directed, including covering front lobby during attendant breaks.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing plant supply room with office.

Physical Demands & Skills:

• Regularly lift and/or move 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus are required.
• Regular walking; frequent standing, stooping, kneeling; occasionally required to sit, balance, reach, or climb in order to stock parts in the supply room.
• Spend long periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors, and/or employees.
• Understand and use group decision-making techniques, and problem-solving meeting techniques.
• Function in a collaborative team environment.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED required.

Must pass a math test.

3+ years of manufacturing experience recommended.

Experience with ERP required.
