BAE Systems, Inc is looking for a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst with a passion for continuous improvement to join the New Product Introduction Pilot Line, an organization within Operations. This role will be integral in the formation of our next generation operations environment and establishing our data analytics and visualization framework. Successful candidates will enjoy solving complex issues by identifying relevant data, collaborating with stakeholders to determine most important requirements, developing new tools and dashboards to effectively communicate the message of the data, and help create insights for diverse audiences.

• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to explore and evaluate new technologies in operations environment that support business goals and objectives from initial concept to final implementation
• Support the operations team to analyze data and metrics, identify trends, and evaluate performance and make recommendations for improvement
• Manipulates large data sets and uses programming languages to create custom metrics and analytics for dashboards and data visualization projects
• Using best practices in data visualization, design and develop new capabilities/reports/tools/applications with a consistent look and feel for use across the business while optimizing user experience
• Must be a team player, be comfortable in a multi-task and task switching environment, and have experience in presenting work output to all levels of management
• Must be able to understand customer requirements, and translate into an executable end deliverable
• Support, maintain, and continuously improve new and existing tools and applications in use
• Aptitude for learning new technologies
• Act as technical focal for enterprise tool and application deployments for operations
• Provides ad hoc analysis and reports as needed

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and prior relevant experience OR
• In absence of degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required
• Ability to obtain Secret Level Security Clearance
• Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle)
• Advanced dashboard building experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Advanced experience and aptitude for Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), including use of Excel VBA/Macros
• Proficiency in coding languages such as C++, Java, and Python
• Knowledge of data visualization principles
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and translating those into process improvement recommendations

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Demonstrated track record of building strong working relationships at all levels, across functions and geographic boundaries
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with diverse audiences
• Effective problem-solving capabilities and refined analytical skills
• Experience working in an operations environment and/or knowledge of operations processes

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $63653 - $108210

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
