Job Summary

• Seeking a System Administrator to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems
• The ideal candidate will manage an IT system infrastructure, and any processes related to these systems

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
• Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

Required Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Fifteen (15) years' experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level I or higher is required
• Familiarity with BISCOTTI and LATTEART
• Familiarity with STE tools TRELLIS agent, Nessus, ENSL &UAM
• Familiarity with Ansible playbooks and ad hoc Ansible commands
• Intermediate Ansible creating and maintaining playbooks and rules
• Intermediate shell scripting
• Intermediate GIT - check in/check out, branching/tagging, creating repositories
• Installing LINUX (Centos and/or RHEL)
• Demonstrated experience with
• • Troubleshooting LINUX performance, Storage, connectivity
  • VM Maintenance, building, troubleshooting
  • Shell Scripting
  • System Patching using YUM
  • Reading vulnerability reports, IAVA compliance, POA&Ms
  • SecurityCentery Scanning
  • Nagios Monitoring and administration
  • PKI Server Certificates - renewing and revoking
  • Creating and Maintaining SOPs in Confluence

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

145,000 - 200,000 USD per year ( AJ6 )
