Job Summary

• Seeking a technical system engineer to join an existing DevOps team that is working to build out a Kubernetes environment to host services across multiple platforms

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and document system designs, configurations, and processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, hardware, and software issues
• Collaborate with software engineers, network engineers, and cybersecurity teams
• Ensure systems comply with organizational standards and security requirements
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional SE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
• Experience with Linux CLI
• Experience with building out Kubernetes infrastructure including configuring network policies within a cluster
• Experience with system sustainment and compliance including system patching and SSP management
• Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures
• Experience using the Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc.)

Desired Qualifications

• Understanding of or experience with tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible
• Understanding of or experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm
• Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards
• Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards
• Security+ certification (CWIP)

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

155,000 - 210,000 USD per year ( NBP )
