Our client has multiple opportunities for CONUS Aerostat operators along the US southern border: in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Numerous roles are available for experienced operators. The successful applicant must have completed the 22-meter TCOM training course to be considered for these initial roles.


We seek individuals with a technical background and previous Aerostat experience, specifically candidates with mechanical, IT, ISR, and electronic expertise. Additionally, you must have a current active DOD clearance or a Public trust clearance (BI) to be considered for any of these roles.



Primary areas of responsibility:

Aerostat operators/maintainers will participate in the overall hands-on operation of the aerostat system, including launch, in-flight, recovery, and moored activities. In addition, candidates will perform all functions to operate the aerostat, an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform; its Mobile Mooring Platform (MMP), Sensor Payload(s), communications and navigation systems, and associated support equipment (Boom Lift, Forklift, All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), and Electrical Power Generators).

Required Education/Experience:


• A high school diploma or equivalent, plus formal technical training (via military or civilian technical schools).


Successful candidates will have experience with one of the following skillsets and previous 22-meter aerostat experience.

Electronic Maintenance candidates with an in-depth background in radar, ISR, E.W., communication, avionics repair, and troubleshooting.

ISR operators with an in-depth background in airborne or ground data collection and dissemination.

Information technology candidates with Network Installation (BICSI or Network+ or Comp T Certification); The preferred qualifications for the IT position are certification as CCIE with fiber optic certification or industry occupational specialties as a CISCO Network Administrator.

Mechanical Maintenance candidates with experience repairing and troubleshooting diesel generators and/or vehicles, automotive engines, hydraulics, and aircraft mechanical backgrounds are highly desired.
