Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Windows Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Rancho Bernardo, CA.
The selected candidate will assist with data center design and documentation and will need domain knowledge of the existing systems.

Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Essential Functions:
- Develop engineering and automated deployments for datacenter system configurations.
- Executing engineering projects on schedule.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and redline documented procedures.\
- Implement engineering changes to the system as required
- Responsible for integrating and testing software and/or hardware systems in complex IT systems.
- Work closely with Engineers and Technicians in a lab environment.
- Good planning, coordination, and documentation skills are required.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of STEM related engineering experience; 0 Years with a Masters
- Experience with Windows/LINUX Server and Desktop deployment and maintenance
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and GPO configuration and deployment
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Visual Basic, .Net
- Experience deploying in virtualized environments (VMWare and Hyper-V)
- Infrastructure automation experience with automation tool such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc
- Basic infrastructure knowledge in Backup/Storage and Network technologies
- Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain (and maintain) special program access (PAR) prior to commencement of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Active Directory Federation Services
- Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Familiar with Agile methodology
- Familiar with version control, GIT experience preferred
- Ability to author and maintain technical installation, configuration, and update documentation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
