Junior Data Entry Associate
Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Full-Time Junior Data Entry Associate to support our client
in performing critical data and order entry tasks. This role involves entering customer orders,
purchase orders, and internal data sets under direct supervision. The position supports client
operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing and responding to customer inquiries via phone
and email. The ideal candidate has strong communication, organizational, and time management
skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic Excel. Experience with government procurement
platforms such as GSA Advantage and Thalerus VIBEnet, as well as working with federal, state, or
local government clients, is preferred.
Tasks Performed:
• Enter customer orders and purchase orders accurately into the client’s system.
• Process manual purchase orders for vendor submission.
• Handle order holds and fulfillments according to client procedures.
• Maintain and update internal data sets.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Support customer service operations with task-based assignments.
• Assist with order tracking and resolution of order-related issues.
• Follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures under direct
supervision.
• Use Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and data tracking.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely task completion.
• Maintain accurate time tracking and submit summaries of completed tasks.
• Utilize government procurement platforms (e.g., GSA Advantage, Thalerus
VIBEnet) when needed.
• Communicate professionally with federal, state, and local government clients.
Experience and
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of position relevant experience.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Familiarity with customer service practices, including responding to emails and
phone inquiries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and basic Excel functions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of government procurement platforms such as GSA Advantage and
Thalerus VIBEnet. (Preferred)
• Experience communicating with federal, state, or local government clients.
