ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Project Control Specialist to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Gather, analyze, and organize Program- and project-level data in for preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation and deliverables which enable internal and external senior leadership decision making.
- Conduct formal and informal reviews throughout the project life cycle to review and track performance metrics against expected results.
- Coordinate among internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are executed within contractual obligations, policy and process documentation, and related architecture.
- Analyze the impact or potential impact of missed or inadequate performance on project execution and support high-level Program management. Develop and present reports on analysis findings. Draft documentation to support project activities.
- Ensure the use of proper technical terminology across various documentation, and that information is clear, and documents can be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and four 4+ years related experience or Associates degree in related discipline and two (2) years related experience.
- Experience with developing and presenting reports on analysis findings
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and 4+ years of relevant experience in the field or a related area.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Relevant work experience in a US Government environment, DoD preferred, and/ or with the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program is strongly preferred.
- Working relevant knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) operations.
- Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks.
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizenship and active Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer and associated office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, computer printer, etc.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
