Job Description: We are seeking a Program Manager-to lead and grow our Medical and Public Health portfolios, primarily supporting Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives with the potential to expand into other business lines. This individual should bring strong business and operational leadership skills, with technical understanding as a supporting asset.
This is a high-impact, growth-oriented role reporting to the General Manager and provides the opportunity to evolve into a strategic leadership position within the organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent business sense, relationship management skills, and a proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary efforts across distributed teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
~Lead and manage the full lifecycle of Medical and Public Health programs, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, compliance, and profitability.
~Serve as the primary client relationship manager for all assigned medical and public health projects, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
~Provide daily oversight of project execution, managing both administrative and technical staff.
~Actively contributes to business development by supporting proposal writing, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives.
~Collaborate with HR on workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and employee performance management for project personnel.
~Ensure compliance with all regulatory, reporting, and contract-specific requirements.
~Drive cross-functional coordination and provide strategic direction to optimize project outcomes and support broader organizational goals.
~Support expansion into adjacent portfolios or service lines as opportunities arise.
~Travel as required to support team integration and client engagement.
Qualifications:
~Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Health, Health Services, or related field.
~5+ years of experience managing DoD programs/projects.
~Demonstrated success in client-facing roles and in managing cross-functional teams.
~Strong business acumen with a focus on profitability, delivery excellence, and customer satisfaction.
~Familiarity with technical domains and healthcare systems (not required to be hands-on technical, but able to engage with SMEs effectively).
~Ability to manage remote or dispersed teams and multitask across various workstreams.
~Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
~Eligible for a DoD Security Clearance
Nice to Haves:
~Experience in proposal development, pricing, and contract oversight.
~Direct experience in supporting DoD Medical and Health Programs.
~PMP or MBA preferred, not required.
