ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael's is hiring a Logistics Planner to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. As the Logistics Planner, you will contribute to logistics planning in Support of USNORTHCOM Strategic Planning real world operations and exercises. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will assist the government with developing relationships and coordinating and synchronizing with industry and Defense agency suppliers and procurement centers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
COMPENSATION: As required by applicable law, St. Michael's Inc. provides reasonable pay ranges for positions based on labor market conditions in locations where compensation transparency is required. The base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. Final compensation may vary depending on geographic location, relevant skills, experience, and other job-related factors. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
Please note that this is a proactive search position, and while we are actively reviewing qualified candidates, a confirmed start date has not yet been established.

WHO YOU ARE
- Active Top-Secret Clearance (with ability to obtain SCI).
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience conducting military operational planning in support of real-world operations, exercises, and investments with direct experience in Joint Logistics planning and the Joint Logistics Enterprise (JLEnt).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, coordinate, plan and synchronize joint supply activities in accordance with Joint Publication 4.0.
- Track the USSOCOM and SOCNORTH supply chain, determine and improve supply chain responsiveness and reliability affecting readiness and capabilities.
- Identify and provide visibility of material moving through the distribution pipeline using in transit visibility tools (ITV) from DOD and USTRANSCOM as required.
- Develop overall picture of supply and transportation trends for strategic forces affecting weapon system readiness.
- Assist the government with developing relationships and coordinating and synchronizing with industry and Defense agency suppliers and procurement centers.
- Research and analyze component command logistics standards and policies for implementation and integration for SOCNORTH use.
- Assist the J4 in standing up and running the SOCNORTH Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES) Operation, planning and coordinating all deployments of Operational Controlled (OPCON'd), assigned and allocated Special Operations capabilities, provided to supported Combatant Commands for operations.
- Provide oversight and facilitation of all subordinate components, service components, and Joint Task Forces JOPES POC's, for the deployment and employment of OPCON'd, assigned and allocated Forces as a key member of the Joint Planning and Execution Community (JPEC).
- Assist in developing logistics support to special operations and integration with plans and OPLANS of other Combatant Commands by attending Operational Planning Teams and providing plan inputs and plan reviews.
