Senior Web Developer

Location: Washington, D.C. Metro - Hybrid (U.S.-based only)
Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible for Public Trust
Type: Full-time | Contingent upon contract award

Overview

PBG is seeking a Senior Web Developer to lead and support the modernization, operations, and continuous enhancement of enterprise-level intranet and SharePoint environments. The role involves full-stack web development, API integrations, cloud platform support, and technical leadership in both front-end and back-end systems for federal digital transformation efforts.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SharePoint Online, Office 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and web development best practices, with a strong understanding of DevSecOps, accessibility compliance, and collaboration tools in secure enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, and .NET/C#
  • Develop custom solutions and workflows for SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance platform functionality
  • Support DevSecOps pipelines and implement automation using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins
  • Ensure all deliverables meet federal accessibility standards (Section 508), security requirements (NIST/FISMA), and performance SLAs
  • Participate in Agile Scrum sprints, sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, DevOps engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and business analysts
  • Provide Tier 1-3 technical support, troubleshoot user issues, and maintain knowledge base documentation
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, and user guides

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with SharePoint (on-prem and SharePoint Online), Microsoft 365, and enterprise collaboration platforms (7-10 years preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience leading or executing large-scale web content migrations
  • Hands-on experience with full-stack development, REST APIs, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), and .NET technologies
  • Skilled in using tools like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, PowerShell, Graph API, and SPFx
  • Strong understanding of accessibility compliance (Section 508) and security frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53)
  • Experience preparing system design documents, SOPs, test plans, and release documentation
  • Experience participating in and presenting during Technical Challenges (e.g., orals, solution demos) as part of competitive proposal efforts
  • Skilled in preparing technical content and delivery strategy for proposal orals and Tech Challenge presentations in support of new business pursuits
  • Microsoft certifications in SharePoint, Power Platform, or Microsoft 365 (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting federal agencies or government contracting environments
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, particularly within secure or hybrid cloud settings
