Job Title: JCA Export Regulations Specialist
Location: Remote
Start Date: Right Away
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: Up to $56.66 /hr.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position can work remotely.
* What are the main functions of this role?
o Personnel will review the jurisdiction & classification of previously assessed Client hardware and technical information for accuracy to the regulations. This includes performing technical reviews of the product"s function, assessing the hardware"s hierarchy within the product structure, and understanding recent guidance from Global Trade to assess proper classification for export.
o Personnel will participate in documenting rationale for the jurisdiction and classification assessment of items found to have the incorrect JC previously.
o All reviews & JCAs will be verified by a Client employee.
* Task Details:
o Start ASAP, Planned Completion by October 10, 2025
o 40 hours/week
o Location: Remote, within lower 48 United States
o Interested in up to 5 Resources
* Required Skill Sets:
o Associates or Bachelor"s degree.
o Minimum 5 years of experience with the U.S. Government (USG) U.S. Munitions List (USML) and Commerce Control List (CCL)
o Minimum 5 years of experience performing jurisdiction and classification assessments
o Knowledge and proficiency with regard to the regulations (including understanding of the (a) catches and all the (b) releases) and group guidance (including the see-through rule and other commonly understood USML regulations.
* Desired Skill Sets:
o Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
o Strong computer skills, including understanding and proficiencies in MS Office applications Excel and Word.
o Experience with JCA Tools (e.g., OCR, xClass) and CommonPDM (cPDM)/Windchill.
o Trustworthy and professional individual focused on the mission.

o 5 years of experience
* Education Level Required:
o Associates or Bachelors. BS or MS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred but not required.
